Has it really been this long....

I can't believe it has been four months since I have posted! Where does the time go. I guess it has been a busy/hot summer. Today, a crisp 54*. I haven't drawn or painted anything in a while. I am crocheting, or trying too. I still want to draw, and will get back to it. I need to carve out some time in the day to do it. I just joined a gym again, and hoping that it will wake up my sleepy metabolism, get some oxygen flowing in my blood and increase my creativity. I do feel better already....I believe its true that energy begets energy...

Rain, rain, rain.......

This is the second weekend in a row, (next weekend looks the same) RAIN..... Yes, its nice to lay back in bed and listen to the rain pitter patter on the roof above, enjoy my morning coffee...and know that, for now, the yard work must wait. We added a deck to our little house this past couple weeks, and it adds a sense of calm...sitting out on it and enjoying the view above the yard. Chickadees darting in and out of their house feeding their babies, robins bathing in the pond...gold fish swimming lazily by....trees filled with the songs of spring....

Cotton knitted swatch

One of my New Years resolutions was to learn how to knit
I can tell just by looking at this I did something wrong on

this knit side.  Half way down, on one row, I must have wound

the yarn around the needle the wrong way, cuz the *V* is

crossing different than the rest of the rows....I am learning....
